Shelby Spring

Shelby is currently a research intern, looking to start her PhD in the Microbiology and Immunology program. She grew up in Dallas, TX and completed both her Bachelors and Master of Science at Oklahoma State University. Shelby enjoys doing research in the science world, because it applies to people and can help them in their day to day lives. Also, researching can lead to the prevention or treatment of diseases, such as autoimmune. When she is not in the lab she can be found playing with my dog, Cooper, reading or hanging out with friends.
